Kimberly A. Aponte
Ms. Aponte attended Temple University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Summa Cum Laude in 1991. While at Temple, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society for her excellence in liberal arts. She then attended Boston University where she received her Juris Doctor Degree.
Ms. Aponte joined Sheller, P.C. in 2006 after practicing commercial and construction litigation in Philadelphia for several years, where she served as a plaintiff’s counsel in the Tropicana Casino Garage Collapse Litigation. Her prior experience as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia included litigating to verdict over 1,000 felony, misdemeanor and civil drug forfeiture trials.
Frequently recognized for her court performance and success rates, Ms. Aponte’s passion for representing victims of crimes continues in her representation of injured individuals in civil personal injury litigation practice. Kimberly now successfully litigates Sheller, P.C.'s Risperdal, Avandia and Levaquin cases, Toyota sudden unintended acceleration (SUA) wrongful death and consumer class action matters, and the firm's most recent “Live Stop” civil rights class action litigation.
Ms. Aponte resides in Center City, Philadelphia and devotes her time to community and civic services. She was recently selected for membership in the Justinian Society, a legal organization comprised of attorneys, judges, and law students of Italian ancestry. As a devoted animal lover, Ms. Aponte is a frequent volunteer and foster parent to Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
