Founding partner Stephen Sheller of Sheller, P.C. and his daughter attorney Jamie Sheller joined other volunteers Sunday, December 6 to help The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia serve a special holiday dinner to an estimated 650 homeless and underprivileged individuals and families.

The Sheller family has been involved with The Army since Steve became a member of the Board of Trustees at Drexel University and realized how the university and The Army could partner for service and philanthropic projects.

Since then, with their growing commitment to the many good works of The Army, Steve and his wife Sandy have been integral to the organization’s programs and growth. Steve has served in a variety of capacities, including Campaign Chair and currently sits on the Board of Advisors. Sandy, MA, ATR-BC, LPC is an art therapist and supervisor for The Salvation Army Red Shield Family Residence.

The Shellers have been honored with “The Salvation Army Others Award”, given to those who exhibit extraordinary service on behalf of others and exceptional service to The Army and community.
