Attorney Stephen Sheller interviewed on Philadelphia FOX 29 evening news about legal action concerning Philadelphia’s “Live Stop” program. The city impounds vehicles whose drivers, when stopped by police officers, are lacking proper documentation. The issues are, first, is the statute legal, and second, is the city in violation of their own procedures that say the driver and passengers are not to be abandoned on any city street or highway. Attorney Sheller filed suit against the city in May of 2011.
